Fewer components mean better cost efficiency
With some conventional belts, tracking issues are often observed. Habasit’s new self-tracking elastic belts have excellent tracking, without the need for additional tracking or tensioning devices. Unlike conventional fabric-based or monolithic belts, these belts provide significant savings in both belt- and conveyor design.
Besides improving cost efficiency on the line, they eliminate additional costs of belt guide profiles, grooves on pulleys, and slider beds. This range is antistatic, flame-retardant, and works best in shorter lengths, ideal in areas with limited space where the belt is wide and short.
Self-Tracking Elastic Belts
Belting features
The design has the following special features:
- Elastic polyester fabric layer that enables belt self-tracking
- Flame retardancy
- High-quality PVC compounds
- Two different cover embossings to serve a variety of applications
The belt with an inverted pyramid structure (NAW-02SSBV) is ideal for limited inclines or acceleration applications, while the belt with a longitudinal groove (NSL-02SSBV) has an enhanced surface area that supports applications where additional grip is needed.
