The mission of the Timing Belt Technical Sales Manager is to develop the UK Timing Belt strategy to win new business across all industries in the UK.
This role requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proven track record in the sales of Timing Belt product into the desired markets. The ability to understand and retain information relating to the technical nature of the products in order to present them properly to clients is an important factor.
The candidate will be an ambitious, dedicated, target-driven sales professional who knows how to manage customer relationships and has a focus of generating new business development opportunities.

- To lead business generation of Timing Belt sales in the UK
- To provide timely and professional documentation of activities and results against the agreed schedule of objectives
- To drive and deliver continuous feedback on the marketplace for the benefit of the business as a whole
- To represent the business as an ambassador and to be held in the highest regard in terms of professionalism and integrity at all times
- Systematic planning and implementation of effective (quality) and efficient (quantity) customer calls to achieve the business objective
- Presentations and practical demonstrations of solutions and products, negotiations, if required also on-site handling of customer complaints
- Training – Design and implement a full Timing Belt training program for the UK sales, service and customer care teams
- Input into the UK Timing Belt production facility required to deliver the plan
Key Performance Indicators:
- Formation of a coherent and cohesive Business Development Plan for UK Timing Belts
- Compliance to plan
- Compliance to agreed interim and long term strategic action plans
- Delivery of agreed documentation and reports in a timely and professional manner

Your education and experience
- Ideally HNC / HND / Degree qualified ideally within Engineering or Technical discipline or with relevant work experience
. - Commercial acumen and a proven track record in Technical Sales within the relevant target markets of Food, Paper & Print, Materials Handling, etc
- Experience selling Timing Belt to UK market
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- A confident individual with excellent networking and interpersonal skills
- The ability to understand engineering issues relevant to the products and services offered
- Commonplace IT tools and CRM abilities
- Experience of working in an external sales role covering a specific market and key accounts and have good knowledge of CRM systems and reporting tools
